Perminova, developer of web-based software for the nation’s leading cardiology centers, named Kevin Hell to the Perminova Board of Directors.
A technology industry leader with expertise in managing high-growth operations, launching innovative products and helping technology start-ups attract capital, Hell is Chairman of EvoNexus, a highly successful business incubator for high-tech startups. EvoNexus is part of CommNexus, a non-profit technology industry association in San Diego. Hell is a member of the Board of Directors for CommNexus.

Hell also serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Pixon Imaging and Micropower Technologies. Hell was formerly CEO and Board Member of DivX, Inc. During his eight-year tenure there, he drove the company through an IPO and transformed it into a leader in the rapidly emerging digital video market, connecting high-quality Internet content with consumer electronics.
Before joining DivX, Hell served as Senior Vice President of Product Management for Palm’s Solutions Group, where he managed the Palm-branded products and wireless services division worldwide. Prior to Palm, Hell was Vice President of the Connected Home for Gateway and was responsible for pioneering innovative digital home products beyond the PC. He received an MBA in finance and management from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and an MS and BS in engineering from Stanford University.
