Higher Sale Prices for Donated Cars Results in Higher Tax Deduction

Kars-R-Us has been able to send checks to their charity clients in excess of half a million dollars.

Lisa Frank, Vice-President of Kars-R-Us announced the average sale price for donated cars has been higher in 2011. Kars-R-Us is a professional fundraiser that specializes in car donation programs. "There are a number of factors that effect how much used cars are selling for, and we are very pleased that the values have been up over last year. Every donation is evaluated for its potential value, and then sent the vendor that will provide the highest return. Some older non running cars are sent directly to a salvage yard, the rest are sent to an auto auction.

Working with a nationwide network of local independently owned auctions, and the national chains, we are able to service all 50 states."

Lisa has been managing car donation programs for almost 15 years. "The prices we've been seeing for donated cars in 2011 are higher than any year since I started working with car donations back in 1997! That a win-win for everyone... the donor gets a higher tax deduction, and more money gets sent to the charities."

Over the past couple of years Kars-R-Us has been able to send checks to their charity clients in excess of a half million dollars. "We offer a turn key solution to charities that don't have the resources to operate a car donation program in-house. It's our responsibility to get them the highest possible return on each donation, while providing the donor with the best possible donation experience."
