The C12 Tampa Bay Group held its annual “Night of Celebration and Member of the Year Banquet” on December 6 at the Mainsail Suites and Hotel in Tampa, FL. The event was hosted by C12 Tampa Bay Chairs, Scott Hitchcock and Ed Phillips. Buck Jacobs, Founder of the C12 Group, was the guest speaker. According to Buck, “It was a wonderful and sentimental time for us as we saw the Chairmen Scott Hitchcock and Ed Phillips distribute awards among the five C12 Group and four Key Player Group members for 5 and 10 year membership and outstanding participation and performance to the Members of the Year, and then to listen to each recipient as they commented on the value and blessing that C12 has been to them.”

Scott Hitchcock, C12 Area Chair, also stated, “This was a special evening and a real joy to see God at work in so many lives which has impacted their families, spiritual walks and the companies that God has given them to be good stewards. We were blessed to recognize so many of our members.”

“Members of the Year” were given to five C12 Group and to three Key Player group members. These award recipients are chosen by fellow members who vote for the best member of their group for the year. Criteria for selection include which member applied the C12 material best during the year either through improved business performance, lives changed spiritually or by attaining their individual goals for the year. Brent Williams, recognized as a “Member of the Year” and President, Taylor & Williams, said, “I know my life, company and impact on others have been significantly impacted because of C12 and my fellow members. The constant encouragement to abide and spend time with God has shaped me.” The following were announced as “Members of the Year” (based on individual groups): Jeff Cook, Custom Fabrication, Inc. ; Kyle Doezema, Storr Office Environments; Judy Genshino-Kelly, Kforce; Connie Honey, Dallas 1 Construction & Dev.; Sol Pitchon, New Life Solutions; Cordreanne Richardson, Tampa Bay Steel Corp and Brent Williams, Taylor & Williams
