Auberge Resorts Appoints Mary O'Neil to Grow Portfolio of Luxury Resorts

Auberge Resorts appoints Mary O'Neil in a newly created position to grow Auberge Resorts collection of Luxury Hotels and Resorts.

Investment and finance professional Mary O’Neil has joined Auberge Resorts as Senior Vice President of Business Development & Acquisitions, the company announced today. In this newly created role, she will be responsible for identifying and executing acquisition and management opportunities for the company, including building a real estate portfolio. She will be based in the company’s Los Angeles office.

Ms. O’Neil most recently was President of Brener International Group LLC, a Beverly Hills-based family investment firm, where she guided a variety of transactions, including investments in real estate, small- and middle-market companies, management buyouts, acquisitions and consolidations. As a private consultant prior to that, she provided corporate advisory, development and capital-raising services to companies such as The Setai Group, a real estate development and luxury hospitality brand.

Ms. O’Neil spent the early part of her career at Citigroup, advancing to the role of Vice President on the global management team and serving in corporate and investment banking groups in London, Hong Kong, Shanghai, New York, Sydney and Mumbai, among others worldwide.

A graduate of the University of San Francisco with a B.A. in Politics, Ms. O’Neil has an M.A. in International Economics from The Johns Hopkins University School for Advanced International Studies in Washington D.C. and Bologna, Italy.
