Former Epsilon and Zeta Interactive executive Jason Simon to accelerate the proliferation of StrongMail's cross-channel interactive marketing solutions into new and existing markets

StrongMail, a leading provider of interactive marketing solutions for email marketing and social media, today announced the appointment of Jason Simon as senior vice president of sales. A seasoned sales executive and direct marketing veteran, Jason Simon has more than 20 years of experience helping leading marketing organizations expand their businesses and grow their bottom lines. In his new role, Simon will be responsible for executing StrongMail's global sales strategy and managing its distributed sales force.

Simon's digital marketing expertise spans more than a decade, most recently as SVP of sales and sales business operations at ClickEquations. In that role, Simon revamped the company's sales and marketing operations, resulting in 50% annual growth and a successful acquisition by Channel Intelligence. Previously, as vice president of sales at Bigfoot Interactive, Simon helped lead the company to a $120 million acquisition by Epsilon, and subsequently transitioned into the role of vice president of sales and channel for the Epsilon Interactive Services Group. Simon's sales and management expertise also spans executive positions at Datran's Stormpost business unit, Zeta Interactive and DoubleClick. Simon holds a BA in political science from Syracuse University.
