Signature Kitchens, Additions & Baths, a leading home design firm serving Bethesda, MD and the greater Washington, D.C. region, is launching a new marketing campaign to bring a human face to the home design/build industry in Washington, D.C. Signature has begun engaging with past and current customers through video interviews, to be displayed on the Signature Kitchens, Additions & Baths website.

The first video interview to be uploaded to the site ( took place in the Bethesda, MD home of Lisa Schneiderman. Signature’s Eniko Szlavin, the kitchen designer who worked on Ms. Schneiderman’s project, interviewed her about the kitchen remodeling process and her thoughts about Signature’s work. “It was great to get to go back and talk with Lisa about her kitchen,” Ms. Szlavin said. “As kitchen designers, we create these very personal spaces for our clients, but then after we’re finished we don’t always get to hear about how it impacted the their lives.”

Ms. Szlavin, along with the crew from Signature Kitchens, Additions & Baths, returned to Ms. Schneiderman’s home shortly after the Thanksgiving holiday. Ms. Schneiderman and her family celebrated the holiday with family and friends in the new traditional style kitchen. Throughout the kitchen remodel process, both designer and homeowner had wrestled with the issue of how large or small to build the kitchen island, in the end deciding to maximize the kitchen island size. Because of the video interview, Ms. Szlavin was able to learn that Ms. Schneiderman and her family enjoyed sharing their Thanksgiving dinner around the large kitchen island. “If we hadn’t come back, we wouldn’t have learned that the homeowners were as happy as they were with our design decisions,” Ms. Szlavin said.

Ms. Schneiderman’s video interview in Bethesda is the first of many slated for Signature Kitchens, Additions & Baths’ website. In the coming weeks, Signature will release the rest of the first wave of video interviews with clients in Potomac, MD, North Potomac, MD, and Howard County, MD. “Our hope is that these videos will make the home design and kitchen remodeling process a little less mysterious and stressful,” Gary Case, owner of Signature Kitchens, Additions & Baths, said. “A full kitchen remodel is one of the biggest investments a homeowner will make, yet many don’t know what the remodeling process is really like.” Signature’s video interviews are meant to shed light on the design and construction process that goes into kitchen remodeling while also serving as a way to connect with past clients and see how the remodel has impacted their lives.
