Beltsville, Maryland (PRWEB UK) 20 December 2011
This initiative began in April of 2010, when Vocus acquired Datapresse, a market leader in providing French media contact data. Vocus has incorporated Datapresse’s data, including their extensive media database, into its existing VocusPR product to create a new, entirely localised French product complete with all French data. The total number of media contacts available has nearly doubled, from 36,000 to over 66,000 contacts. The total number of searchable outlets has also seen a significant increase from 9,700 to over 17,000 outlets. In addition, customers with access to global data will now have access to French-based forward features.
PRWeb France will offer customers distribution to France-based media, search engines, news sites and consumers, to share their news and drive sales. Like the US & UK version of PRWeb, the French product is focused on increasing online visibility, driving website traffic, and generating publicity for customers quickly.
”As we continue to expand internationally, we are working to provide relevant, localised products for each specific market” says Rick Rudman, Chief Executive Officer at Vocus. “The launch of VocusPR and PRWeb France is a significant move for the business as we aim to build on our US and UK success and continue to invest and scale operations in Europe.”
