As the hCG diet rapidly gains popularity, it is becoming evident that not everything published about hCG is true. Weight loss using hCG drops is possible, but confusion surrounding distorted claims and false information has led many consumers to trust in products that are ineffective and even potentially dangerous. Upon the realization that there are many conflicting ideas about hCG, hCGBlog.com set out to distinguish the truth about hCG from the many myths and exaggerations.
Myth #1: hCG Drops Do Not Promote Weight Loss
“At 26 I was single and starting to let myself go downhill after a bad break up. I felt like I didn’t really care anymore about the way I looked and became very depressed. When I did finally snap out of it, I discovered that I was about 40 lbs over weight! I always thought I looked OK and nobody ever told me I looked fat. I tried all kinds of diet pill and shakes and nothing worked. A friend told me about Hcg and I researched it for a couple of weeks before I tried it. I found some sub lingual Hcg which meant I didn’t need injections which was a relief! “I hate needles!” I started the diet and immediately seen results in the first few days of the diet. People started to notice as well. By the end of the month I had lost 28 lbs! I started telling friends and family about the diet to help them get the results that I did. This diet is amazing and will one day be the only diet on the market, because why use anything else once you have used this.”

Unsolicited posts and emails like these are sent to hCGBlog.com each day and many are published on their site. The vast number of people who have successfully lost weight using hCG drops is testimony to the fact that they undeniably do work. If one were to abide by the hCG diet without using hCG, their metabolism would shut down and their body would attempt to store fat rather than burn it off.
Myth #2: All hCG Drops are the Same
While hCG does stimulate weight loss, this does not mean that all hCG drops work or are even made using real homeopathic hCG. The enormous success of hCG drops has prompted thousands of deceitful vendors to sell water-based, chemical-filled hCG drops on the Internet with claims of substantial weight loss. Fact of the matter is, hCG drops that are blended with other ingredients or contain no hCG at all simply will not provide results.
Myth #3: It is Unhealthy to Follow the hCG Diet
The hCG drops you take in conjunction with the hCG weight loss diet signal the body to release stored body fat. This response causes the metabolism to rapidly burn off calories to be used by the body each day. While the diet only permits 500 calories to be consumed daily, the body actually has access to thousands of calories to provide energy and prevent hunger.
