Secondary and post-secondary science courses part of new product and services release

PLATO Learning, a leading provider of online education courses for pre-K through adult learners, has announced its winter product release that addresses a range of customer needs.

New physics, precalculus, and integrated physics and chemistry courses allow high schools to offer a full 4x4 (four years in four core subject areas) curriculum. These courses are provided as part of the PLATO Secondary Academic Library at no additional cost. In addition, a new simulated test helps high school learners prepare for the writing portions of high-stakes examinations, such as the ACT.

Post-secondary institutions can now offer a developmental component to their STEM program with new PLATO Learning science courses.

Along with new science courses, English for Spanish Speakers learning content – developed in cooperation with Middlebury Interactive – is now available for both K-12 and post-secondary organizations.

“We’re pleased to further expand our course offerings as we continue to support educators in their mission to help their learners make successful transitions,” said Jamie Candee, PLATO vice president for product and marketing. “Our product releases reflect our commitment listen to our customers, respond to their needs, and deliver on our promises.”

Finally, for all of its customers, PLATO has launched a new support site with an enhanced and more personalized user interface, and the convenience of live chat with its customer support representatives.
