Gainesville, Ga. (PRWEB) December 21, 2011
Gainco, Inc., a leading manufacturer of yield management systems and supplier of foreign object detection systems for meat and poultry processors, announces an agreement with Anritsu Industrial Solutions USA, Inc. in which Gainco has been named the exclusive authorized distributor and reseller of Anritsu-brand HD 0x-ray inspection systems, checkweighers, combination systems and related quality control software to the poultry processing industry in the U.S.A.
The agreement became effective on October 12, 2011.
Anritsu is one of the most established equipment brands in the x-ray detection field. The company’s roots date back more than 40 years, and the first Anritsu x-ray systems were introduced in 2000. Since then, more than 7,000 units have been installed worldwide, even as the product line has continually evolved.
Anritsu x-ray detection systems are recognized for their superior performance, reliability and sophisticated quality control capabilities. The KD7400 series x-ray systems have been proven to be the most accurate systems available globally. Multi-layer detection algorithms, HD 0.4 mm diode arrays and other inherent design features maximize the ability to find contaminants within the product being inspected, with virtually zero false rejects.
As an example, the Anritsu Dual X inspection system analyzes two different x-ray energy signals, enabling the capability to distinguish between the product and contaminants. The result is superior detection of thin, low-density bones and other high- and low-density contaminants, making it the ideal detection equipment for poultry processors.
In addition, the Anritsu pipeline unit offers superior detection of bone and other foreign objects including metal, glass, and stone in deboned, ground and poultry trim products.
Commenting on the new sales agreement with Anritsu Industrial Solutions, Don Esch, president of Gainco stated, “We’re pleased to be named Anritsu’s exclusive authorized distributor to the poultry processing industry in America. The Anritsu brand is well-respected – and justifiably so. Together, we can offer solutions that pair Gainco’s highly effective yield enhancement systems and equipment with the precision-engineered x-ray detection systems that Anritsu manufactures.”
Anritsu and Gainco products will be on joint display at the International Poultry Expo in Atlanta, Ga., on January 24-26, 2012 at Booth #4859.
