The Licensing Executives Society International, Inc. (LESI; http://www.LESI.org) announced today that it will host delegates from six continents at the upcoming LESI Global Technology Impact Forum (GTIF), taking place on January 23-25, 2012 in Geneva, Switzerland.

GTIF has become a focal point of discussion for policy makers and professionals seeking to advance the business of intellectual property on a global scale,” explained LESI President James E. Malackowski.

The Licensing Executives Society International, Inc. (LESI; http://www.LESI.org) announced today that it will host delegates from six continents at the upcoming LESI Global Technology Impact Forum (GTIF), taking place on January 23-25, 2012 in Geneva, Switzerland.

The Licensing Executives Society represents more than 10,000 individual members in over 90 countries. Delegates attending GTIF represent the following LES Member Societies: Andean Community, Arab Countries, Australia & New Zealand, Benelux, Brazil, Britain & Ireland, Chile, China, Chinese Taipei, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Philippines, Scandinavia, Singapore, South Africa, Spain & Portugal, Switzerland, Turkey, and USA/Canada.

These delegates will discuss topics related to the management of intellectual property (IP) and technology transfer to further economic growth, as well as next generation IP market development.

“GTIF has become a focal point of discussion for policy makers and professionals seeking to advance the business of intellectual property on a global scale,” explained LESI President James E. Malackowski.

At present, over 25 leading global organizations, including the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), World Trade Organization (WTO) and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), representing three interest groups – Intellectual Property Protection & Harmonization, Trade & Economic Development, and Technology Transfer & Standards – will participate.

More than 100 business and legal executives are also expected. GTIF is open to the public with registration found at http://www.gtiforum.org/register.
