Showing every makeup user how to apply and what to buy
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) December 21, 2011
Makeup Gourmet is kicking off 2012 in style, with a glamorous, joyous and charitable pre-New Year's Eve with a portion of all proceeds going to San Francisco Bay Area's top non-profit charity GLIDE (formerly Glide Memorial).
GLIDE has been providing services for the city's less fortunate for over 40 years. GLIDE served over 3,000 meals per day and provided shelter for 2,260 individuals and families for 10,726 nights last year. In November 2011 GLIDE was recently featured as a 'Champion Non-Profit' by the White House for its charitable contributions.
Makeup Gourmet CEO and Founder Chris Scott said: “We at Makeup Gourmet want to benefit and serve the local San Francisco community where we live and work as much as possible. No single non-profit organization in San Francisco has been assisting the city's less fortunate than GLIDE and we are proud to lend a hand.”
Makeup Gourmet will open its doors on December 31 from 12noon to 6pm with the mindset to 'beautify for a cause'. Makeup, hair and spray tan specialists will be available to assist all those in attendance to look fabulous for the big night.
By combining an important charity event with all available beauty services on the planet in one location, Makeup Gourmet will be the place to prep, party, and prepare to welcome 2012 in style.
The Makeup Gourmet New Year's Eve Charity Event is an open house open to all and admission is free. Attendees can pre-order services to ensure a chance to experience this premier one-stop beauty experience. All prices on beauty products and services have been dramatically cut to make participation as inclusive as possible and generate additional revenue for this very worthy cause.
There will also be a hosted and very well stocked ‘libation station’ to toast the New Year as well as last-splurge indulgences before and so-called 'New Year resolutions' kick in.
Mr Scott added: “We look forward to sharing a tasty libation with everyone who joins Makeup Gourmet for the last day of 2011. While the pre-party is meant to be fun and glamorous, it will also be for a very worthy cause"
