The newly formed European e-Invoicing Service Providers Association (EESPA) has elected Charles Bryant at OB10 (http://www.ob10.com) as Vice-Chair.

OB10 was an early proponent of the idea of a European association and has supported Bryant as he laid EESPA’s organisational foundations in 2011.

During its first annual general meeting, the trade association committed itself to raising the profile of electronic invoicing across Europe by acting as a platform for industry co-operation.

In his role as Vice-Chair, Bryant will support the association and its 37 service providers, nine Executive Committee members and Chair, Esa Tihilä from Basware.

Bryant said, “Organisations are replacing paper invoices with electronic transactions to realise cost savings, speed up payments, save carbon, and improve transparency and liquidity. EESPA will support this market by promoting interoperability and the adoption of e-Invoicing, engaging in policy debate and recommending best practices.

“I’m delighted to play a role in ensuring EESPA fosters collaboration among service providers and helps organisations reap the benefits of e-Invoicing.”

EESPA welcomes new members who provide compliant e-Invoicing services to third-party customers.

EESPA has been formed and registered as an international non-profit association (AISBL) under Belgian law. As a trade association for the e-Invoicing industry, EESPA acts as a platform for industry cooperation on non-competitive issues.
