Brandman University recently launched their [Premier Partnership Program, a Masters in Business Administration degree (MBA) scholarship program developed to stimulate education and economic well being in our local community. This scholarship from Brandman University establishes a strategic collaboration to deliver on ground and online MBA curriculum to employees at some of Orange County’s most innovative and trend-setting companies.
The participating organizations include ABM Engineering Services, Allergan, Inc., AltaMed Health Services Corporation, Blizzard Entertainment Inc., Cox Communications, Kawasaki Motor Corp. U.S.A., Kia Motors America, Inc., Oakley, Inc., and Pacific Clinics. Each company selected scholarship recipients from among their employees. The takeaway is evident in numerous studies showing that employee retention remains higher when the organization invests in its leadership’s education.

One of the most exciting and innovative aspects of Brandman University’s Premier Partnership Program is that students learn the MBA programming in a cohort model, which means they move from course to course as a collective group. Throughout the program, students from a wide range of industries will have the opportunity to witness how business tools and techniques can be applied in a variety of ways, whether that is in apparel, gaming software or healthcare. The Brandman cohort model presents students with the advantage of building strong business ties, collaboration opportunities and networking relationships from diverse business environments.
Students enrolled in the Premier Partnership Program engage in Brandman’s practice oriented curriculum called iDEAL, a blended format of online and on campus classes. The material they learn is focused on key aspects of the business world identified by current business leaders in the field and benchmarked by cutting edge business degree programs throughout the country. Hands on learning exercises reinforce the concepts and prepare the upcoming business leaders to approach their work challenges with innovation and creativity. Classes meet weekly and virtual teamwork reinforces classroom instruction with online MBA programming. The students can literally apply the theories they learn on a Monday evening the very next day at work.
