“Leo Schachter Diamonds’ new filing system will help to keep their business accounting organized and efficient for years to come,” said Thomas Potter, President of Datum Filing Systems.

In a business that sells items as valuable as diamonds, organized and efficient accounting is a necessity. Leo Schachter Diamonds’ current filing system was no longer meeting these needs and so they turned to Datum to create a new system that would minimize space and maximize storage in their new accounting department.
Leo’s current storage system took up too much room and provided less than adequate filing space. Datum met their specific storage requirements by installing a MobileTrak5® filing system to create 20 percent more storage in less space than the old system.

Datum paired the MobileTrak5® System with ThinStak® Shelving to house the company’s accounting records and reports. The system consists of both moveable and stationary carriages. The ThinStak® Shelving’s unique design maximizes every inch of storage even in tight spaces with low ceilings. Datum kept the aesthetic appeal of the front office by continuing the carpeting from the surrounding area onto the decking of the MobileTrak5®. This creates a seamless look between the floor and the decking. The new system fits within the office’s allotted space, while still creating additional space for the company’s future storage needs.

“Leo Schachter Diamonds’ new filing system will help to keep their business accounting organized and efficient for years to come,” said Thomas Potter, President of Datum Filing Systems.
