We want this rebate program to be successful, so a retailer that sells just about everything should appeal to just about everyone

Starting in January, shopping on Amazon.com will soon get cheaper for eShopedia customers. With a simple click from eShopedia’s homepage, users will be directed to the Amazon.com website and all qualifying purchases made will receive a 5% rebate. Customers can combine that with additional money-saving tips from eShopedia and save as much as 8% overall.

“We thought that Amazon would be a great retailer to introduce the cash-back promotion because the variety of merchandise, the competitive prices, and the convenience of home delivery make Amazon such a popular place for folks to shop,” says Co-Founder Jack Chiang. “We want this rebate program to be successful, so a retailer that sells just about everything should appeal to just about everyone”. It’s very likely that the cash-back promotion will be extended to all eShopedia retail partners in the near future. The details on how the rebate program will work and how to maximize savings on Amazon.com can be found on eShopBlog, the company’s blog dedicated to offering money-saving tips, consumer education on shopping, and product reviews.

In addition, the company is busy working on special promotions just for eShopedia customers. “We are lining up meetings with new and existing partners to brainstorm ideas for exclusive deals just for our customers and we are encouraged by initial conversations we’ve had so far,” says Chiang. “2012 should be a busy and exciting year!”
