Author Leo Murray tells the story of Jack Snook’s long quest for justice and redemption over accusations of a crime

A gripping novel about the deadly game of politics, corruption and the murder of Archville, Pa. Mayor Albert Jenkins, who was found savagely beaten to death in his office, his political enemy, and former baseball great Jack Snook, accused of murdering him, while a deeper investigation and the wheels of justice takes their course is in the book titled Blackballed written by Leo A. Murray.

In this book, readers will follow the story of Mayor Jenkins who had managed to secure a strong arm to have enough votes and get elected. But it was difficult, if not outright impossible, to find anyone who actually liked him. He was born into old coal money and was a backstabbing manipulator who knew no bounds when it came to obtaining what he wanted. He used and abused people as if it were sport. But, when he was found in his office lying in a pool of blood, and had been clubbed to death with a baseball bat, allegedly by his long-time political enemy, the former baseball great, it touched off an investigation that would eventually expose a wealthy family’s decades-old dark secret and carve a path to corruption at the highest levels of the county’s legal system.

This book offers an exciting investigative story about something that is actually happening nowadays, a tale of corruption and that of a rotten criminal justice system that’s eating up a nation’s bureaucracy which is vividly depicted by characters presented in the story including those of corrupt government officials and victims of circumstances crying for justice.

Furthermore, the sudden twists and turns of this novel will make this book even more interesting for readers especially with regards to the identity of the real perpetuators of the crime as well as the hidden motives behind the killing. Also, this book will take crime drama fanatics over the edge of their seats as they follow a Little League All-Star team led by the former baseball great’s 12-year-old handicapped son on a quest to erase a two-decades-old Jinx.
