About the Author
Thomas D. “Tuck” Payne is 87 years old and was born in Charlottesville, Va. in 1924. A high school graduate in 1942, he is a veteran of the Army Air Force during World War 11, honorably discharged in February 1946. He was married to Ella Senger from Buckingham County, Va. for 59 years before she passed away. Together, they shared their love with 3 boys and 2 girls. He worked as a master plumber until his retirement in1989. Payne was an avid fly rod fisherman. In 2007, he had a great urge to write and with the aid of his family is trying to fill that urge with one finger and a laptop.
