In his new suspense novel, Lethal Libido (published by iUniverse), Bruce Roberts tells the story of how an ordinary man’s pursuit of love and happiness cause him to lose control and evolve into a revengeful killer.
In this gripping tale of murder and revenge, Lethal Libido follows the life of Jeff Collins who leaves his wife, Sheila, and moves to Atlanta. There, he meets Erin Keegan, a beautiful exotic dancer; the two connect and despite obstacles, fall madly in love for one another.
An Excerpt from the book:
He spun his chair around and before him stood the most beautiful woman he had ever seen in his life. She must have been over six feet tall. Long silky dark brown hair flowed a foot beyond her shoulders. Her lips were full. Her nose was slightly turned up with matching indentations on either side of the tip. Her eyes were like emeralds and eyebrows were full. Jeff didn’t need to look beyond her face. He stared in awe, unable to answer.
In the mean time, Sheila leaves for Atlanta only to discover his infidelity. Jeff soon becomes entangled in the repercussions of Erin’s past and discovers that his quest for happiness comes with a dangerous price.
“Lethal Libido demonstrates the power of human emotions and how they drive people to act uncharacteristically,” explains Roberts. “Anyone is capable of losing control of their emotions.”
