Pittsburgh-based InventHelp® attempts to submit clients’ inventions to companies for review.

InventHelp®, America’s largest invention submission company, announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Washington, has designed a hair accessory that would prevent burns when using a curling iron or straightener. This invention is patented.

The “Franklin’s Style Wizard” would help to keep a wearer’s ears from being burned when curling, straightening or styling hair. It could enable an individual to be more confident when styling hair because they wouldn’t have to worry about burning themselves or another person.

The invention would be ear-shaped covers made from an elastic silicone material capable of withstanding high temperatures. The cover would wrap around the outer ear, protecting all of the external parts of the ear. Once in place, the Franklin’s Style Wizard would hold the ears in a bent position away from the head, which would enable a user to maneuver the styling device with ease. Producible in small, medium or large sizes, the invention could also consist of a variation that would protect the forehead.

“I’ve burned my ears while curling or style-combing my hair,” said the inventor. “My invention protects against this.”

InventHelp® is attempting to submit the invention to companies for review. If substantial interest is expressed, the company will attempt to negotiate for a sale or royalties for the inventor. For more information, telephone Dept. 09-FED-686 at (800) 851-6030.
