The team at Paradiso knows that together, everyone can help make the community better, whether it’s by providing the insurance CT residents need or simply lending a helping hand.
Stafford Springs, CT (PRWEB) December 29, 2011
Paradiso Insurance has thrived within the Connecticut community, so in order to give back, the agency is constantly building partnerships with local non-profit organizations and getting involved with fundraisers. This holiday season, the team at Paradiso Insurance wants to recognize a local community center that helps out those who have fallen on hard times. With proper insurance, CT residents can rest assured knowing that they will not encounter financial strain due to an unexpected accident, and Paradiso Insurance wants to ensure that no one within its community has to worry about putting food on the table.
The Hockanum Valley Community Center (HVCC) is a private, non-profit human services agency that helps families in need within the Vernon and Tolland County area. Along with meeting these families’ basic needs, HVCC also assists with transportation, substance abuse, mental health and elderly needs. Paradiso Insurance will be teaming up to collect peanut butter for the HVCC in order to make sandwiches for the children and families that visit the HVCC on a regular basis. Individuals who would like to make donations can stop by Paradiso’s office at 8 East Main Street in Stafford Springs with jar or two of peanut butter, or call the agents at (860) 684-5270 to learn more about how they can help.
The team at Paradiso knows that together, everyone can help make the community better, whether it’s by providing the insurance CT residents need or simply lending a helping hand. During the fall months, Paradiso Insurance partnered with Universal Ceramic Tile in order to further its efforts for the HVCC. Enzo Faienza and his team at Universal Ceramic Tile offered a 15 percent discount on in-stock items to any customer who brought in 15 canned goods between September and November. This initiative helped the HVCC feed many of the more than 1,600 people per month who rely on the center for their meals.
With the holiday season in full swing, the HVCC is experiencing an even greater demand for food. Therefore, Paradiso Insurance encourages other local residents to follow suit and extend a helping hand to the HVCC by generously donating food.
