Chris Morgen of Voyager Capital Management, LLC, has qualified for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 65 Uniform Investment Advisor Law License. Chris passed the 130 question exam in December and is now eligible to be registered as an Investment Advisor Representative for the firm. The exam is designed to test an individual’s knowledge and ability to advise clients in the area of investing and discuss relevant financial concepts.

Chris Morgen of Voyager Capital Management, LLC, has qualified for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 65 Uniform Investment Advisor Law License. Chris passed the 130 question exam in December and is now eligible to be registered as an Investment Advisor Representative for the firm. The exam is designed to test an individual’s knowledge and ability to advise clients in the area of investing and discuss relevant financial concepts.

Chris said that having the Series 65 License is the first step in building a successful career within the investment advisory industry. “Working for a Registered Investment Advisor means having the flexibility to service clients as well as perform the day-to-day investment management activities. The Series 65 License allows me to operate in both roles and give our clients a higher level of service and more streamlined experience,” he noted.

Chris’s roles at the firm include serving as an Analyst and Assistant Portfolio Administrator. As an Analyst he assists the firm’s principals in due diligence and ad hoc portfolio and investment analyses; additionally, he assists in the trading and rebalancing operations of the firm as the Assistant Portfolio Administrator. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in May 2011 as a double major in Finance and Economics; Chris joined Voyager Capital Management, LLC, in September 2011. He is currently a Level II candidate in the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program, a three-part graduate level examination for finance and investment professionals.
