We are leveraging traditional web and social media tools to empower communities of shoppers as they re-wire how they shop. Our goal is to leverage emerging trend in value-based e-tailing using the Facebook social platform.

WE4CS announces the opening of its new Facebook Shop and ups the ante on consumer empowerment. The company is betting that consumers will enjoy the new offering as well. Taking note of the emerging trend towards customer loyalty for American made products, the company is extending the WE4CS community ecosystem to the Facebook social platform. Their goal is to merge e-tailing and job creation discussions all in one space.

WE4CS is hoping that the move drives awareness of the relationship between consumer spending and local job creation, in order to meet the needs of social shoppers. The goal is to give social shoppers a voice and a choice. In fact, they are opening up a conversation on Facebook with the question: what does it take to create jobs. What's unique here is the social questions will occupy the same space as the online shop.

"When we look at the current economic environment it's clear there's an opportunity to integrate e-tailing and consumer social engagement to deliver 'value-based e-tailing' - a new emerging trend. Within the new platform communities will have access to an e-tailing model that can be leveraged to deliver spending flows back into local communities. The Facebook platform is a powerful place to drive brand discussions and alternative brand decisions in the same space. This moves the social shopper one step closer to deciding whether to replace brands lost due to outsourcing. The small movement of social shoppers could lead to 'in-sourcing', which might be the stimulus to creating new local jobs," says Adkins, who is the CEO at Wealth Ecosystems4Communities (WE4CS).

Our Facebook channel allows communities to not only buy and sell, now they can engage in discussions to select from a host of American made products, which can be made available for sale. If the demand on the platform grows and the product mix is 'value-based' it could lead to an expansion of new local jobs, Adkins explains.

"We provide opportunities to save money and shop socially within a single community ecosystem. Our new Facebook channel moves us closer to the pulse of the new social customer. We are driving towards complete customer engagement as we push the product decisions down to the edges. By standing up the Facebook solution, we are looking to offer a 360-degree view of our customers' shopping values, in order to meet their social needs", he says.

Just as community involvement is essential for selecting the product mix, Adkins says that having a conversation about job creation and shopping is an essential first steps of the process. To that end, he is inviting everyone to visit the WE4CS Facebook Business page to join in the discussions - and shop.
