Expressionary Announces Charity is its Underlying Mission—Proud Partner with CURE International

Expressionary is a new Atlanta-based company, which declared upon its launch that their underlying mission is to contribute to charitable organizations with every purchase made. Expressionary has stated that a minimum of 10 percent of their profits will be donated to charity, and is proudly announcing their partnership with CURE International.

According to the Giving Institute, large corporations are known for donating millions of dollars to charities each year, yet they only account for about 5 percent of all donations to U.S. nonprofits. Small businesses are collectively contributing billions of dollars to philanthropy, and this international and local goodwill does not go unnoticed. Expressionary is a new Atlanta-based company, which declared upon its launch that their underlying mission is to contribute to charitable organizations with every purchase made. Expressionary has stated that a minimum of 10 percent of their profits will be donated to charity. It is also important to note that when a person purchases an Expressionary, they can specifically elect which charity (among those featured) that their purchase will be applied towards. Among the charitable organizations that Expressionary is partnered with, they are eager to contribute to CURE International. CURE is a non-profit organization which operates hospitals and programs in 20 countries around the world, performing desperately needed surgeries on hundreds of thousands of under-privileged children. CURE has seen over 1.5 million patients, provided over 121,000 life-changing surgeries, and trained over 2,400 medical professionals in countries, such as Kenya.

The Tim Tebow Foundation also recently collaborated with CURE. The Tim Tebow Foundation’s mission is to bring faith, hope and love to children throughout the developing world who suffer from treatable physical disabilities. The first initiative in this partnership with CURE will be an International Children's Hospital Construction Project.

An Expressionary is a new personalized expressive dictionary, in which a person selects 10 words that best describe the individual for whom the book is being designed for. The descriptive words the gift-giver selects for their loved one coordinates with a photo of the recipient, which is placed below the chosen words. There are 4 book designs to choose from; Expressionaries are priced at $19.95 for softcover or $29.95 for hardcover.

Expressionary, LLC – a subsidiary of M&W, LLC – is located in Atlanta, Georgia, and ships their propriety books to most of the U.S. Expressionary was founded in September 2011 by William L. Mehserle, Jr. and Michael J. Flanigan, both recent graduates of Georgia Tech. Their decision to form their own company came after the realization that they could assist those in need more so by pursing their own venture rather than working for a large corporation.
