The ten-week FastTrac program is designed to boost business growth in the biotechnology and Health IT sector in order to produce high-impact, sustainable technology firms.

eDoctor, Inc., an innovative provider of Health IT solutions, has recently completed the Northern Virginia Technology Council’s Kauffman Foundation FastTrac TechVenture Program, a comprehensive business planning program for technology firms in the greater Washington, D.C. area. Sponsored by Pillsbury and the Reznick Group, NVTC’s FastTrac program is a renowned planning series whose past alumni have included successful firms such as FitFeud, Counterpoint Consulting, and gangbox.com.

FastTrac TechVenture is a ten-week series focusing on business growth in the field of biotechnology, life sciences, and Health IT. Companies who are selected must meet strict criteria to participate; the end goal of the program- which combines marketing, financial, and business strategies- is to create sustainable, high-impact firms with a lasting presence in the field. Past speakers at FastTrac include Pillsbury Law’s Steve Meltzer and LivingSocial’s Tim O’Shaughnessy.
