Gleanster today announced the launch of the Insight Exchange Open Resource Library, which consists of third party-submitted white papers, research reports, case studies, and other types of thought leadership related to technology-enabled business initiatives. Anyone can submit relevant content assets, which, upon approval, become categorized and shared with hundreds of thousands of industry practitioners in the Gleanster community and beyond.
The Open Resource Library complements Gleanster’s own best practices market research, which includes a growing library of Gleansight benchmark reports and Deep Dive analyst reports.
“No team of research analysts, no matter how good, has a monopoly on best practices and actionable insights,” says Jeff Zabin, research director at Gleanster. “In truth, these can emanate from any number of places. For that reason, we decided to create a centralized resource that vets and aggregates these external pieces of thought leadership, most of which are quite impressive. Those who will benefit most are busy executives who don’t have time to search the web for these proverbial needles in the haystack.”
Gleanster is the first market research firm to "go open", meaning that anyone can participate. There is no cost associated with the opportunity to submit content just as there is no cost associated with the opportunity to access the content. However, all submissions are subject to review by Gleanster’s Research Oversight Committee, which approves only content that it deems to be unbiased and high-quality and that serves to educate the marketplace.
“The Open Resource Library is a great way for solution providers, in particular, to demonstrate thought leadership, raise brand visibility, and gain broad exposure for the valuable content assets they’ve already created,” says Zabin. “These will be promoted in a targeted way through our website and email channels as well as through our extensive network of publication partners.”
The Insight Exchange Open Resource Library already features white papers and other content assets from dozens of leading technology solution providers on such topics as mobile marketing, email marketing, social media marketing, social media monitoring, text analytics, lead nurturing, online communities, customer feedback management, customer experience management, and business intelligence.
Gleanster expects to add hundreds of new content assets on a broad range of topics over the next several months. For solution providers and others that wish to participate, these assets may be submitted via the submission form on the Gleanster website or emailed directly to amanda(dot)forgash(at)gleanster(dot)com.
