Greenway Medical Technologies, Inc., today announced that its fully integrated, single-database electronic health record (EHR), practice management and interoperability solution PrimeSUITE® 2011 received two national “Best in KLAS” industry service awards.

PrimeSUITE’s practice management capabilities received top honors in two categories: for practices having between 1 to 10 and 11 to 75 physicians, marking the fourth consecutive year of recognition in practice management excellence.

In the separate ambulatory chart rankings, PrimeSUITE was the health IT industry’s runner-up solution also in the 1 to 10 and 11 to 75 practice size categories, ranking above the 80th percentile in overall scoring by both group sizes surveyed. PrimeSUITE received top Best in KLAS Awards in ambulatory chart categories from 2006 through 2010. (1)

Overall, Greenway solutions have received 13 Best in KLAS Awards since 2004 among the ambulatory chart and practice management categories within varying practice sizes. (2)

The independent KLAS organization's annual health information technology awards result from customer and industry surveys of hospital and clinic executives, administrators, physicians, nurses and other directors and managers interacting with health IT. KLAS routinely surveys more than 4,500 hospitals and 2,500 ambulatory organizations annually. Ratings are based on a set of 25 key questions in the areas of sales and contracting, implementation and training, functionality and upgrades, service, support and general scoring.

“We are extremely proud at Greenway to continue to offer customers integrated solutions they can rely on, as reflected by this year’s KLAS Awards and from our history of recognition,” said Greenway® President and CEO Tee Green. “As our industry continues its fast-paced evolution to an interconnected and care coordination system, EHRs must reconcile clinical functions with administrative needs, and we cannot be distracted from the increasingly important roles of training, support and the entire spectrum of customer service. The KLAS organization brings that diligence center stage every year, and we appreciate its role in preserving quality in our mission-critical industry.”

“Since 1998, KLAS has been committed to helping healthcare providers make decisions based on candid peer feedback,” said KLAS President Adam Gale. “Best in KLAS rankings mark those vendors who best keep their promises in their market segments for offering a combination of superior products, strong service, and high customer value. We hope these ratings continue to help providers find transparency from their vendors in making purchasing decisions.”
