LBM Journal, a leading industry publication and organization, announced today that Marvin's Building Materials and Home Centers will be presented its 2012 Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

The Alabama based Home Improvement Company plans on opening two new locations for 2012 the first of which will be in Fayetteville, Tennessee, opening in March.

Marvin’s is a third generation family owned business that was founded in 1945 by Marvin Cohn in Gadsden, Alabama. It is now actively operated by owners Mike and Dan Cohn. Marvin's currently operates 27 stores in Alabama, Mississippi, and Georgia. Marvin’s was named the 2010 Retailer of the Year by the Home Channel News.
