Tucson, AZ (PRWEB) December 30, 2011
There's only one place to take courses from 15 world-class instructors this winter in Tucson that will challenge and open artists to new jewelry-making horizons, and that is the JewelryTools.com Classes at Tucson Electric Park Gem & Mineral Show, located at tent #ES14. Gem show classes start at just $99.
From January 28 through February 12, 2012, classes run all day for budding and blossoming jewelry makers to explore wire wrapping, beading, mixed media, metal etching, polymer clay, wire crochet, chainmaille, metal clay, and more techniques and mediums. Students will discover these techniques in either full-day or half-day classes from 15 jewelry-making pros including Jackie Truty, Patti Bullard, Dale "Cougar" Armstrong, and Brenda Schweder.
Said Classes Coordinator and wirework instructor Dale "Cougar" Armstrong: "Our venue is turning out to be the largest class venue in Tucson this year. We will be offering up to 150 different classes over the 16 days of the Tucson Electric Park show. We look forward to seeing you there!"
Classes at Tucson Electric Park are extremely affordable; starting at just $99, a student will embark on a journey through technique and creativity and arrive with a finished jewelry piece and the know-how to recreate the project when she arrives home. Kits are available with complete materials necessary to complete the projects; kit fees start at $5 while most kits are set between $20-30. Classrooms have tools and electricity prepared, including kilns, lighting, and specialty equipment. Additionally, JewelryTools experts will be on-hand to demonstrate some of the thousands of tools stocked on JewelryTools.com (class sponsor).
