Holypop.com, a Christian Web Startup providing faith-based resources, announced that Mr. David Smeringe, founder of Merea AB, a Sweden-based web development firm, had been named Chief System Architect & Application Developer. Mr. Smeringe's involvement comes following Holypop's announcement of a series of interactive Bible study tools to be released in 2012.

Holypop.com, a Christian tech startup recently profiled on Christian Post, has promised to develop some of the world's most innovative solutions for Bible-believing Christians, and are taking new steps to secure themselves as a standard-bearer in their industry. This includes the news that Swedish web developer David Smeringe has joined the growing company.

The team at Holypop.com is excited to announce the recent naming of Mr. David Smeringe to the role of Chief System Architect & Application Developer. Holypop's Founder & CEO, Chris Carberg announced the new addition in the Orlando, FL headquarters.

This new role will entail developing and architecting a brand-new Holypop innovation, already in the latter planning stages. Holypop's CTO, Scott Basham, will be stepping into a project management & operational support role to facilitate the new team member. "There are certain people you speak with, talk shop with, share your faith with, and you know it's a slam dunk. I'm confident that David is a blessing to Holypop," Basham said.

Mr. Smeringe has been working professionally as a web developer in 2000, and in 2006, founded Merea AB, a Swedish based web-development firm. He and his family (His wife Amanda, their three children, and their fish) live in Falkenberg, on the western coast of Sweden.

Holypop.com recently relaunched of their brand, promising new faith-based innovations, and this hiring comes on the heels of that announcement. This all seems to tie in with Mashable.com's article proclaiming that "Religious Americans Just as Tech-Savvy".
