Eric Solberg, a Realtor with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Area Leaders, has achieved the Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR) designation from the Real Estate Buyers Agent Council (REBAC), a subsidiary of the National Association of Realtors.

Real estate professionals who receive the ABR designation must complete a comprehensive course that covers all aspects of the real estate purchase transaction, from training in professional representation and service, to in-depth studies of pricing, market analysis and negotiation strategies to closing. In addition, Realtors who pursue the designation also must complete an elective course and document and verify their professional experience and a successful track record of real estate transactions.

Solberg joins a select group of real estate professionals across that country that has achieved the designation and gained the benchmark of excellence in buyer representation. Solberg says he pursued the designation to provide his clients with whom he works an extra edge and assurance that their transaction will go as smooth as possible. It also gives him access to specialized homebuyer content and resources.

“Today’s real estate transactions are becoming increasingly complex,” said Solberg, a fifth-generation Realtor. “More than ever, buyers expect their agent to have specialized training, tools and knowledge that spans every aspect of the home purchase. Obtaining the ABR designation will help me carry out my commitment to provide best in class service to my clients.”
