Mission Essential Personnel, LLC (MEP) today announced it has promoted Associate General Counsel Susan M. Zidek to the position of Senior Vice President and General Counsel. With nearly 20 years of legal experience, Zidek replaces Peter Tirinnanzi who is stepping down after years of distinguished service to the company.
“Susan has a terrific record as a leader of MEP’s legal team, so she was a natural fit to rise with Peter’s departure,” said MEP CEO Chris Taylor. “I am honored to promote her to General Counsel.
“In the two years Susan has been with MEP she has improved company practices in vital areas including human resources, operations, finances, and contracts. While we are sad to see Peter go, his passing the torch to Susan will ensure continuity of leadership in our legal department.”
A seasoned veteran of Ohio legal circles, Zidek is admitted to practice in all Ohio courts, the US District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, the US Court of Federal Claims, and the US Supreme Court. She has also served as judicial staff attorney for the Ohio Court of Appeals for the Fourth District.
She earned her bachelor’s from Wittenberg University and her law degree from the Ohio State University. She is also a graduate of the 2001 National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA) Advanced Trial Advocacy program and the American University national government program.
