According to author Mohammad Bahareth, the kings of the Internet cannot be escaped, and they are multiplying. They include the likes of Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Larry Page and Sergey Brin, among others. Discover how these kings and other Internet titans changed the world with their ideas. Illustrated studies of different web applications show how Microsoft, Apple, Google and other companies developed their kingdoms.
iSay: Kings of the Internet (published by Trafford Publishing) is a complete illustrated study of Web applications, along with the histories behind the world’s largest software companies.
“This book addresses issues that no one’s written anything about – issues that are critical to know if you're in the Web or E-Commerce industry,” says Bahareth. “It’s a must-have book for even intermediate internet users.”
In iSay, Bahareth discusses the origins of Google as he chronicles the undertaking of two Stanford University students (Larry Page and Sergey Brin) to create the Internet’s largest search engine.
Bahareth goes on to show Google’s growth, both financially and in market share, as the start-up gained a market capitalization of more than $23 billion. iSay also covers the rise of established powerhouses such as Microsoft, and how Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne founded a basic computer-building company that would later develop into the multinational company known as Apple.
iSay is essential reading for anyone interested in how small companies have used cutting edge technology not only to gain fame and fortune, but also to ingrain themselves into everyday life on a global level.
