Rapid Insight Inc. is excited to announce the release of a significant upgrade to its award-winning business intelligence software product, Veera. The upgrade, which is another milestone in the evolution of the technology, incorporates data visualization into the product’s toolkit.

With the latest upgrade, users can now meet all of their individual reporting and analysis needs by turning their raw data into actionable information including charts, graphs, and visual dashboards. As a self-service business intelligence tool, Veera takes the burden off of IT departments by enabling business analysts and nontechnical users to develop their own reports and ad hoc analyses.

With the ability to meet individual reporting needs, Veera’s drag-and-drop analytic process builder enables users to quickly produce reports, ad hoc analyses, and analytic datasets by merging, aggregating, cleansing, and transforming data from formats as disparate as Excel, Access, SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and text. With the release of version 3.6, Veera users can now add visualizations to any of their reports.

Having a customer base spanning multiple industries, Veera is being used by colleges and universities, pharmaceuticals, hospitals, fundraising organizations, and government agencies. “Customers from across all industries have been asking for more data visualization capabilities within Veera,” says Michael Laracy, President and CEO of Rapid Insight Inc. “As we continue to add to Veera’s functionality based on user feedback, data visualization has been one of the top items on our priority list.”
