Television’s longest-running auto series, MotorWeek, has announced that the Cadillac CTS Sports Coupe has won the Best Sport Coupe category in the 2011 Drivers’ Choice Awards.
MotorWeek selects the award winners from over 150 new cars, trucks and SUVs. Each vehicle is tested each year by the staff of MotorWeek and is judged accordingly. MotorWeek host, John Davis said, “This ultra-modern sports coupe is above all else, an extreme head-turner.” MotorWeek was extremely impressed with the car’s design and performance.
MotorWeek 2011 Drivers’ Choice episodes begin airing on Saturday, February 12 on PBS. The Cadillac CTS episode will air on February 22.
Along with the Drivers’ Choice award the entire CTS line-up has been cleaning up on awards this year including, Edmunds Inside Line Most Wanted Awards for 2011 (CTS-V Wagon), Car and Driver 10 Best List for 2011 (CTS-V Sedan, Coupe and Wagon), and World Performance Car of the year finalist (CTS-V Coupe) to just name a few. In all the CTS line-up has won 11 awards to date.
