BIACAL has established a generous profit sharing opportunity for each host organization which allows them to continue to provide vital programs and services in their community.

All funds raised directly benefit the Brain Injury Association of California which promotes brain injury awareness on state, regional and local levels.

An estimated 1.7 million traumatic brain injury deaths, emergency department visits, and hospitalizations occur annually in the United States. When you add in the number of acquired and undiagnosed injuries, the numbers increase substantially. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) further estimates the financial tally of direct medical costs, combined with indirect costs such as lost productivity, totals almost $60 billion yearly.
