The 2012 ZL1 Chevrolet Camaro was debuted at the Chicago Auto Show on February 9, 2011. This will be the highest performing Camaro and will be the leading technological performance car in its class.
Targeting a launch somewhere in the beginning of 2012, Chevrolet is still developing this technologically advanced machine. The new Camaro will be carrying a supercharged V-8, which will produce an estimated 550 horsepower. The new chassis and suspension system are state of the art and will deliver superior handling to help balance out the power. The Camaro is going to be the fastest Camaro that has ever been offered by Chevrolet.
Chevrolet designed the new Camaro with performance in mind. It was completely designed in relation to technology and performance. The hood was even designed to create aerodynamic down force to aid in handling. Wider tires and 20-inch wheels add to the muscle appearance of this car.
The six-speed manual transmission adds to the classic power theme of the ZL1 Camaro. Car enthusiasts of all kinds will be gawking and rolling over each other to check out this performance vehicle.
The 2012 Camaro ZL1 will be available in all of the Camaro exterior colors, yet black will be the only interior color. Testing and engineering tweaks will continue to develop in the coming months to enable the launch in early 2012.
