SFC Associates, formerly Ezra Zask Advisors, announced today the expansion of the firm’s New York office with the additions of finance professionals Ran Harel and Kevin Betz to its securities and financial consulting practice.

SFC Associates, formerly Ezra Zask Advisors, announced today the expansion of the firm’s New York office with the additions of finance professionals Ran Harel and Kevin Betz to its securities and financial consulting practice.

With more than 12 years of experience, Mr. Harel assists companies and attorneys with complex financial issues, including all phases of the litigation process. He is experienced in the valuation of companies and securities, the assessment of damages in breach of contract and intellectual property cases, and the solvency and liquidity analyses of companies. Mr. Harel attended Boston College where he earned an M.S. and an M.B.A. in Finance. He also holds a Bachelor of Law degree from Tel Aviv University and has been a member of the Israeli Bar Association since 1997.

Mr. Betz has more than 20 years of business development experience, assisting corporate, legal, banking and governmental clients with complex accounting, valuation, tax and financial issues. He has provided valuation services to a Fortune 500 company for a major acquisition; assisted a national law firm with damages analysis in a Top 15 damage award in 2006; identified fraudulent conveyance in a major bankruptcy, and provided real property value basis for the largest Indian Housing Authority. He holds an M.B.A. from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts, and is a graduate of Wayne State College in Nebraska.
