Intertech Announces Mobile DevCon, a Full Day Conference on Mobile Technology, to be Held March 31, 2011

On March 31, 2011, Intertech will be hosting a full day conference on iPhone, Android, and Windows Phone 7 technologies. Event includes a panel discussion and three quick launches to cover how to create applications using these mobile technologies.

Below is the agenda for the Mobile DevCon. Attendees can choose to attend one or all sessions. Participant can attend the event in-person in Minneapolis or attend live via webinar.

Keynote: 9:00am CST
Is your organization exploring mobile development? Not sure what platform(s) to target? Not sure how to get started in mobile development? Intertech is here to help. Kicking off Intertech’s Mobile DevCon, we explore, compare, and contrast some of the different mobile platform options and set the stage for the mobile development talks throughout the day.

Windows Phone 7 Development Quick Launch: 9:30am CST
The Windows Phone 7 SDK provides .NET developers with a number of new assemblies, types and technologies which can be used to created Silverlight programs that run under the Windows Phone 7 family of mobile devices. In this Intertech Oxygen Blast, you will be introduced to this new SDK as well as several new Visual Studio 2010 and Expression Blend project templates and tools. As well, you will learn about the two common navigation systems (Panorama and Pivot) and various APIs used during the creation of Windows Phone 7 applications.

Panel Discussion: 11:30am CST
Got questions about mobile development? Of course you do and so do we. Use your lunch hour to explore mobile development issues. Find out what others are learning and saying about mobile development. Find out what the experts know. At the same time, help Intertech shape its mobile training offering by providing us information on what you and your organization need/want in the classroom.    

Android Development Quick Launch : 1:00pm CST

iPhone Development Quick Launch: 3:00pm CST
You've come up with the PERFECT iPhone App... the only problem is you're not sure what's needed to create it! In this webinar the different libraries, frameworks, and programming skills required to create an application will be discussed and demonstrated. You'll... learn how to become a registered "Apple Developer." be introduced to "Objective-C" as well as some popular alternative methods to create an application. see demonstrations of building and testing an interface with the "Interface Builder" on the "iPhone Simulator." discover How "Xcode" is used to develop an application. learn what is needed to deploy your application to the iPhone.
