“The students at Harvard have done an outstanding job in building a world-class educational forum in social enterprise and entrepreneurship. We continue to draw inspiration from new innovators in the social enterprise sector and are especially proud to support the work of the Social Enterprise Conference at Harvard,” according to Mike Havard, vice president of marketing, Newman’s Own, Inc.
2011 marks the third year of participation at the conference for Newman’s Own and reinforces the company’s commitment to making a positive impact on the next generation of business leaders.
According to Anthony Muljadi, media director of the Social Enterprise Conference, “In light of the incessant stories of corporate scandal and greed occurring over the past decade, we believe that it is important to highlight the even greater occurrence of socially impactful actions that business and government leaders from around the world are taking to create social and economic prosperity for their societies. Through our conference, we show how individuals can use business and entrepreneurship to create positive and sustainable change.”
