Newberg, OR (Vocus/PRWEB) February 21, 2011
Registration is now open for Bruin Preview, a two-day college visitation program that allows prospective undergraduate students to check out Christian college life at George Fox University.
This spring’s preview event is scheduled Thursday and Friday, April 7-8, on the university’s Newberg, Ore., campus.
The event is for high school juniors, high school seniors who have been admitted to George Fox and college transfer students who are interested in seeing firsthand what it’s like to live on a Christian college campus. Students will have the opportunity to attend classes, tour the facilities, learn about financial aid, and meet with current students, faculty, admissions counselors and coaches.
Parents are welcome to attend Bruin Preview and participate in events with their students. They will also learn about life at George Fox through touring the campus and meeting with administrators and admissions counselors.
Registration is open through Thursday, March 24, or until the event fills up. Space is limited and the event is expected to reach capacity, so those interested are encouraged to register as soon as possible. To register or get more information, visit bruinpreview.georgefox.edu.
The cost is $30 per student, which includes admission to events Thursday evening, a full day of activities on Friday, meals for parents/guests on Friday, all meals, lodging and a commemorative T-shirt. The cost per parent or guest is $10.
Transportation is available from the Portland airport, train station or bus depot for students traveling from outside the local area without a parent or guardian. Call 800-765-4369, ext. 2240, with your itinerary at least a week before Bruin Preview if you need transportation.
