LocaModa today announced a host of new features for its pioneering place-based social media platform LocaModa 4.0.
LocaModa’s Twitter, Foursquare and Facebook Places applications have been updated to take full advantage of LocaModa 4.0 which was announced last week and will be premiered at the Digital Signage Expo 2011 in Las Vegas.
After a successful beta program, some of the industry’s leading digital place-based advertising networks including RMG, Ecast, Clear Channel and Zoom Media & Marketing are deploying LocaModa 4.0 features.
- LocaModa TwitterFlow, branded for Zoom Media & Marketing as “Sports Bytes” has generated recurring advertising revenue and has been nominated for a DSE Content Award.
- LocaModa Foursquare runs on RMG, Zoom Media & Marketing, Clear Channel, TSQ Digital, Ecast, and has been nominated for a DSE Apex Award.
- LocaModa’s Facebook integration has been used by AT&T, Stride, VH1 and Vans. Vans has been nominated for both a DSE Apex and Content Award.
Each LocaModa application can be presented in multiple configurations and comes with revenue generating advertising units. For example, Foursquare can run as a skyscraper or full-screen.
LocaModa’s applications support a number of new venue features where owners can filter, curate and add marketing messages. Using LocaModa’s patented technology, venue owners can connect these marketing messages to their screens, Twitter, Facebook, Blogs and websites. LocaModa provides a variety of standard ad units for these applications.
LocaModa is exhibiting at booth #1032 of the Digital Signage Expo, taking place from February 22nd to 25th, in Las Vegas. Stephen Randall, LocaModa’s CEO will also be presenting at two sessions and two workshops.
