Corum Group, the international mergers and acquisitions services provider, announced that a majority of the stock of its client Altitude Software, a customer contact center solutions vendor, has been acquired by two new European stockholders, private equity fund IBI and financial services group BBVA. Corum Group, the global M&A services firm, announces a successful transaction for its Portugal based client Altitude Software, a leading vendor in the independent contact center solutions space. Corum assisted in the sale of a majority stake to two European investors, the private equity fund IBI and the global financial services group BBVA. Tafin, the private investment vehicle of Altitude Software’s CEO Gastão Taveira, retains 25% of the company's stock, and Mr. Taveira himself remains head of the company.

“Corum ran an accelerated M&A process within a very compressed timeline, generating interest from North America and in Europe from a multitude of potential buyers, and culminating with a successful sale,” observed Rui Domingos, Investment Manager at Olmea, and one of the selling shareholders’ coordinators for the project. Miro Parizek, Managing Director of Corum, and the lead Corum representative on the Altitude merger, commented, “Management continues growing the company and pursuing their goals aligned with new investors; a win-win situation and a satisfying outcome for all stakeholders.”

We will be extending our services and offerings and addressing key markets, aiming at a leadership position in the global market.”
