Heart disease is the number one killer of women in America. According to the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women website, one in every three women dies of heart disease. That’s one woman every minute.
Join Pinnacle Career Institute – North Kansas City and women and men across the nation who are wearing red and speaking up to save women’s lives this month.
In support of Go Red for Women and to help raise awareness of heart disease prevention, Pinnacle Career Institute will host a free Health Fair on Thursday, February 24, from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
The event is open to the general public and all Kansas City residents are encouraged to attend.
Pinnacle Career Institute will have students on hand performing:
- Glucose screenings
- Blood pressure screenings
- Eye exams
- Three-minute step tests
- Height/weight measurements
- BMI calculations
- Nutritional consultations
Wear red and join Pinnacle Career Institute – North Kansas on Thursday, February 24, for a free health screening in conjunction with the Go Red for Women movement. The event will be held at PCI’s North location, conveniently located by the Kansas City International Airport at 11500 NW Ambassador Drive, Suite 221.
