Karsan Receives Industry Honor for Second Consecutive Year

2010 continued the tremendous growth of our channel program

VaultLogix, the leading provider of secure, reliable, online backup and recovery for business data at a cost-effective price point, today announced that Zak Karsan, Vice President of Business Development at VaultLogix, has been named a 2011 Channel Chief by the Everything Channel’s CRN. Channel Chiefs are leaders in creating effective channel programs for solution providers. They consistently defend, promote and execute effective channel partner programs and strategies.

Over the past year, Karsan has continued to drive extraordinary growth into the VaultLogix channel program, which provides resellers the opportunity to add online backup to a managed service platform as an additional, high-margin revenue stream for their business. In particular, Karsan has established a strategic alliance platform that has enabled VautlLogix’ Internet Vault Advantage solution to integrate with numerous Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM) and Professional Services Automation (PSA) solutions, which further eases the implementation and management of the VaultLogix online backup solution into a reseller’s operations.

This year’s Channel Chiefs were chosen by Everything Channel editorial on criteria including policy and program innovations made during the past year, the amount of revenue their company generates through partners, their willingness to speak out publicly on behalf of the channel, and the number of years they have dedicated to channel activities.

“2010 continued the tremendous growth of our channel program,” Said Tim Hannibal, CEO of VaultLogix. “Zak’s leadership in building strong alliances that ease the process of adding our offsite backup solution to a reseller’s arsenal, combined with our existing capabilities that provide a VAR or MSP with a turnkey online backup service, position VaultLogix to continue growing partnerships in the channel community.”

“Being named a Channel Chief is one of the most prestigious honors in the IT industry. This year’s Channel Chiefs offers tremendous insight into the who’s who of the Channel,” said Kelley Damore, VP, Editorial Director, Everything Channel. “Top channel executives consistently ensure that the Channel’s voice is heard when strategic decisions are being made and continually nurture mutually profitable relationships. We applaud this year’s Channel Chiefs for their successful partner programs and strategies.”
