Developer Social Jitney’s applications are once again a hit with iTunes. In consecutive weeks in February, two travel applications developed by Social Jitney for client Feel Social have been featured as New and Noteworthy in Travel by the U.S. iTunes store. “It gets even better than that,” said a Feel Social rep, “not only have our North European, and Israel City Guides for the iPad been featured by the iTunes U.S. store, but our Bahamas, Central European, Myanmar and Egypt City Guides have been selected as “New and Noteworthy” by iTunes stores in Canada, The Netherlands, Sweden and the UK.
“Working with Feel Social we have developed an application series to help travelers explore the world’s great cities. I travel the world for business and I’m familiar with what traveler’s need on the ground in a foreign locale,” says Salman Ghaznavi, Social Jitney’s CEO. Ghaznavi relates that a traveler needs to: “have helpful maps, find a great place to stay, identify the best places to eat, and take advantage of sightseeing opportunities if time permits. Feel Social’s travel applications are designed to quickly meet these needs. I am delighted that iTunes has recognized their quality.”
Ghaznavi explains that there is more to come, “Feel Social is a proactive client. Prior to this recognition from iTunes, Feel Social engaged us to update these apps and make them even better. They will soon be a truly comprehensive and flexible guide to each location using all the mobile tools available to aid travelers.”
