“Our team of leaders have over 200 years of experience in understanding the needs of customers and we plan to incorporate that knowledge in the compilation of the highest-quality business database in the U.S.,” said co-founder, Monica Messer.

Database101, a leading provider of sales leads and sales solutions to businesses and salespeople, announced that the company will compile it’s own business database, with an innovative process and the most detailed information available on Businesses and Executives.

On Tuesday, Vinod Gupta, founder of InfoUSA, and co-founder and chief executive of Database101, unveiled plans for a U.S. business and executive database compilation, including future plans to aggregate real-time data aggregating programs that are necessary to meet the demand of millions of Salespeople and Business Executives.

“We recognize that a high-quality Business Database is the most sought-after tool for small business owners and sales executives. By compiling our own business database, we will be fulfilling the needs of a wide variety of customers including salespeople, businesses, libraries, government organizations, non-profits and large enterprises that need top-quality and in-depth information on Businesses,” said Gupta, a database industry veteran.

The Business Database will have the ability to be updated daily to include the most accurate and comprehensive coverage available.

Business and executive databases are the toughest databases to compile due to tremendous turnover of executives and the content of the database itself.

“At my previous company that I founded with $100, I compiled the finest database of its time, resulting in millions of customers and a $750 million enterprise. Now, due to the emergence of the Internet and web technology, customers demand more depth, more selectivity, and more accuracy on a real-time basis in a business database. And we plan to meet that need and create an even better enterprise,” said Gupta.

In order to meet demand, Database101’s business and executive database will not only include the business name, address and phone number; but also the number of employees, sales volume, credit rating, years in business, latitude and longitude coordinates, credit cards accepted, hours of operation, square footage, descriptions of the business in addition to other detailed information on every business from their own website. It will also include email addresses of millions of executives and small business owners.

This database will include entrepreneurs with home offices and other web-based businesses that have information not currently available anywhere else. Additionally, the records will be phone verified on a more frequent basis and will include photographs and video clips of the business.

Database101 will also create a collaboration wiki for businesses to actively participate in maintaining high data quality.

“Our team of leaders have over 200 years of experience in understanding the needs of customers and we plan to incorporate that knowledge in the compilation of the highest-quality business database in the U.S.,” said co-founder, Monica Messer.

Database101 expects the database to be completed by the end of 2011.
