To be introduced in May 2011, taintor…with a twist features classic art from The Saturday Evening Post, the magazine that defined American life and culture for much of the 20th century. These sumptuous images—dare we call them Mad Men-esque? —were created by the Cooper Agency, a Madison Avenue firm that produced much of the magazine’s original art. The women depicted in these evocative scenes are doing a lot less housework and having a lot more fun. But like all of Anne Taintor’s inimitable heroines, their priorities remain the same: looking fabulous, keeping men in line, and procuring their next cocktail.

The taintor…with a twist collection includes greeting cards, magnets, coin purses, luggage tags, coasters, emery boards and flasks —must-haves for feminist femmes fatales of every decade.
