Kia remains on top in growth and sales in 2011

While some car companies have been struggling over the last few years, according to the sales professionals at Briggs Kia - the leading Kia dealership in the Topeka, Kansas area - Kia Motors has remained very popular.

This good feeling is backed by the actual sales numbers coming out of the Kia Motors car company. You don’t have to look too close at the numbers to see that Kia is on the rise in many different markets around the world.

Senior Executive Vice President & COO of Kia Motors Corporation, Thomas Oh, said, “With some encouraging signs of recovery coming out of many major markets around the world and the impending launch of the next generation A-segment Picanto and B-segment Rio later this year, we at Kia are confident we will achieve our 2011 global retail sales target of 2,345,000 units which represents a 12% increase compared to 2010.”

For many car companies an increase of 12% year over year would be considered good, but for a car company like Kia, it is really quite amazing.

In January, Kia Motors posted year-on-year sales increases in all regions of the world,

●    31.4% in general markets (40,374 units sold)
●    25.7% in North America (30,838 units sold)
●    19.1% in Korea (40,502 units sold)
●    13.6% in China (40,776 units sold)
●    6.8% in Europe (26,919 units sold).

As you can see by these numbers, the future for Kia is looking good. When you look beyond the numbers at the reason they’re rising, it is really quite simple. Kia has concentrated on making affordable yet safe and stylish vehicles for a broad range of different types of people all over the world.

Their attention to details has really paid off. If you ask any of the sales professional at Briggs Kia - the premiere Kia dealership in the Topeka, Kansas area - they will tell you that they see it when they work with the vehicles day in and day out.
