G-Free Foodie, a resource for living Gluten-Free and eating well, has added a "Best Gluten Free Recipe Video" category to their first ever Gluten Free Recipe Contest. In addition to best Gluten Free Recipe Video, contest categories include Gluten Free Recipe from a Professional Chef, Gluten Free Recipe from a Home Cook and Best Gluten Free Dairy Free Recipe. Winners of each category will receive prizes and $50 cash, while the overall winner will take home $250 and have their winning recipe featured on the G-Free Foodie website for the month of May. The winning Gluten Free Recipe Video entry will be the featured video on G-Free Foodie's YouTube Channel.

Recipes can be submitted to G-Free Foodie's Gluten Free Recipe Contest by email to fo(at)gfreefoodie(dot)com before April 15, 2011. Entries must be original recipes created by the entrant, and must include name and contact information. Video Recipes should be uploaded to YouTube by the entrant, and a link to the video should be included on the recipe contest entry email. Photos of the finished recipe are encouraged but not required. Winners will be announced at G-Free Foodie's first Gluten Free consumer fair, the "Eat Well Event," which will be held on Saturday, April 30th from 11 to 3pm at Birdstone Winery in Madera, CA. Contestants do not need to be present to win the Gluten Free Recipe Contest.
